As an internal R&D project, we set ourselves the task of creating a beauty sequence for a discontinued product using high fidelity modelling and texturing. We chose to work with the TPS-L2, the first ever Sony Walkman released to market 1 July, 1979.

Once the reproduction was created, our focus was on composition and lighting. Some of the closer frames forced us to pay close attention to the fidelity of our model and also the importance of imperfection in mimicking reality.
